This week's album spotlight is TV on the Radio's Seeds. This is their first release since the untimely death of their bass player, Gerard Smith. With that being said, they undoubtedly came out strong with this release, and to quote the singer Tunde Adebimpe, "We've been through a lot of stuff in the past few years that could have stopped the band cold, but I'm glad we got it together and took stock of the unique connection we have between each other because the record is, 1000%, without a doubt, the best thing we've ever done." After a listen to the album, it's not very hard in the slightest to agree with Tunde. Be sure to check out the video above, Happy Idiot, featuring the great cameo of Pee-Wee Herman, as well as a few pictures I snapped of Tunde at Riot Fest over the summer!
