Chris' Musical Musings

by Chris Ripple

This Sunday, Bad Suns and New Politics will be at the Gothic Theatre. Bad Suns, a band that only needed 4 songs to spark their touring bonanza are a must see live. The band features catchy harmonies and melodies that you gets you in a dancing mood. Their new album, Language and Perspective was a hit, with songs like Matthew James, Dancing on Quicksand, and We Move Like The Ocean hitting the air.

New Politics released their new album, Harlem, straying away from their traditional "punk" sounding rock. They've moved into a more pop rock genre with the songs that they feature. Their most popular songs, Tonight You're Perfect and Harlem were quickly picked up on the radio. New Politics are another amazing live band. David Boyd, the lead singer, has unique ways of getting the crowd involved. One of his favorite things to do is stand on the crowd, supported by the hands of the fans, it's truly a sight to see.

A concert with these two bands together? It's going to be a good one, that's for sure.

Jukebox The Ghost came out with their new album on October 21st. The album features so many good songs it's unreal. They just announced a concert in Denver in January, be sure to follow my posts to stay updated on this concert.
