They follow where the wind takes them. No literally, UPNOW! is a road traveling indie rock band that is unpretentious and welcoming. UPNOW!’s music consists of raw vocals and a organic tone that pushes a unfiltered feeling. As they say “They experimental rock for the people” and it’s true.
The crowd was lively and diverse. Dancing, moshing and circling, the crowd was building so much hype for UPNOW! It’s was trilling. You can most definitely feel and see the hold UPNOW! has on the audience.
The venue was mystic and intimate. Moody lighting along with the intellectual murals was very mellow while poignant. UPNOW! Really added to this venue, they were most definitely the cherry on top.
Jessica:
I honestly did not know what to expect when I was attending this concert. From what I heard of the artist, it was really mellow and you know not at all what they played live. But once they started playing I realize that I made a mistake on just listening to a couple of songs.
This was their last stop on their three month tour and wow did they not disappoint. They were not at all like other artists, while they were playing they brought out acoustics and really sat in the crowd. They also got off the stage and played their electric guitar in the crowd.
I would definitely recommend their songs to anyone who enjoys heavy metal and overall hype vibes that really speak to the soul.
