Wined Down at Vine Street!

What a great place this is!

Indeed if you want to unwind and relax over home-brewed beer, delicious wine AND $1.00 tacos then this is the place for you! Every day Vine Street has happy hour:

Monday-Friday 4PM-6PM & 10PM-Close

Saturday 10PM - Close

While my friends and I were there, we played an intense game of memory and also some scrabble. They have a variety of games and books to pick from for your entertainment. But that's not all!

They also host live music every Sunday as well as comedians from time to time!

Seriously this place is great. I personally enjoyed a $1.00 veggie taco and a Java porter beer- highly recommend the beer!

Here is their contacting information- now mosey on over!

1700 Vine Street, Denver, CO 80206
(303) 388-2337

Oh, just a heads up: If I remember correctly they do NOT take cards just cash and checks.....But they do have an ATM machine and it only charges you 1buck for a transaction.

WOOOO HOOOO!

Hop on over to Hops & Pie

It is located at:
3920 Tennyson Street
Denver, CO 80212

Their happy hour is from 3-6:30pm and it consists of:
$1 off drafts and slices
$2 Craft Drafts
on a rotating basis on Tuesdays-Fridays
On Wednesdays there are $2 craft can from 5-closing.

I was there on a Wednesday night and had some coconut beer, not completely sure of the name but it was pretty bomb!  My friends had some cheese sticks and they looked sooo cute and yummy. They were on mini pieces of bread topped with cheesy-deliciousness and sauce. I really want to go back and try their pies and slices. I heard you can even get mashed potatoes on top of slices?!! say whaaaaa? yeah, you heard me MASHED POTATOES. So, I don't know what you're waiting for, go on over to Hops & Pie! Careful on some busy nights though because it can get pretty crowded in there, but they are planning on expanding soon!

get caffeinated and yo drink on!

There is this nice little place called Rooster and the Moon Coffee and Pub

It is located on Bannock between 9th and 10th. Nice atmosphere and good sized tables to do homework. I was only there for a short amount of time but I enjoyed the vibes I was getting. Coffee is cheap and they insist on refills. The people who work there are super nice! And they have a bar too! The food sounds mighty scrumptious as well. During my visit all I was able to get was coffee, but I am definitely going back. So check it outttt and let a sista know if you go.

Address:
55 Bannock Street, Suite 100, Denver, CO 80204

Mon-Fri 6am-11pm
