To be honest with the reader; I only knew a few NIRVANA songs before listening to these albums!
You know the generic ones like Come As You Are; Something In The Way.
(Hopefully I didn’t offend anyone)
I saw the new Batman twice just to rewatch the car chase scene with Something In The Way in the back-track!
I have never took the time to actually listen to NIRVANA at a full scale like this.
None other than my dear friend/ KRCX Radio Station Coworker Christina suggested (Unplugged In New York); and my dear friend Vaughn suggested (Live at Reading)!
I can now proudly say I am a fan of NIRVANA not just for their lyrics; but for the emotion the band is able to portray in their music. Their music is more than just music; its singing/ playing through the rough things in our lives. That hold onto us.
That leave an imprint on our lives; and the only way to grieve the pain and the sorrow is to sing it all out/ and play it all out to the very last drop of sweat.
