Wombats Wombats Wombats

Ogden Theater - In case you forgot it was Valentine’s Day, The Wombats’ show included a proposal and a love affair between a wombat and a dinosaur (but that one ended early) that all reminded you what day it was.

Mackenzie & Carlee - sweethearts of the show, got engaged with some collaboration from Matthew Murphy giving them the spotlight. Congratulations to Mackenzie and Carlee.

Back to the Wombats - and their dancing wombats. Matthew, Tord, and Dan are no strangers to touring and showmanship after nearly 20 years as a group. Despite the challenge of Denver’s (or Denvah, as Matthew might say) elevation, bassist Tord was bouncing all over the stage from first song to last with no signs of slowing down. The crowd couldn’t help but try to keep up with Tord as the group played an extensive setlist of classic tracks and pieces off their recent album, Fix Yourself, Not the World.

The crowd dancing all night is one thing, but when stage security is also letting loose like the wombats that joined The Wombats on stage - that is when you know the night is a good night.

For Regis Students and fans of KRCX, tonight was special as we were able to give out some tickets thanks to In2une and the Wombats. So keep an eye out for more of these opportunities very very soon.
