Peso Pluma's real name is Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija. He is a Mexican singer. He started going viral in 2022 with viral hits like "El Belicón," but he became a global superstar in 2023 with "Ella Baila Sola” with Eslabon Armado. His cousin Tito Double P was the one that would compose the music during Covid-19 before he decided to also start singing. Peso pluma had a certain and strange haircut that also started becoming popular when he became famous. He states that the haircut he got was by accident by a barber in Medellin, Colombia, which he decided to keep after realizing it looked good and it was becoming the Peso Pluma so basically it was good marketing, ultimately embracing it as part of his brand. And fans started using the same haircut and called it the “Peso Pluma” haircut. Some of his lyrics often reference drug culture (narco-corridos), causing issues in Mexico. He received several threats from the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, leading to the cancellation of several concerts in Mexico.

Peso pluma is known to be able to sing different types of genres. Such as Regional Mexican; corridos tumbados,sierreño,reggaeton,Latin rap,etc. He is known to be one of the only singers that can sing different genres, which a lot of singer can't do.

Just recently he and his cousin Tito released a new album called “Dinastia”, and Peso will be going on a tour around the USA. He will be coming to Denver on March 26th. That's a Thursday. His tour is called Peso pluma & Friends. A lot of fans are predicting that he will bring people like jasiel Nunez, Tito double P, and others for his tour. While writing this blog the concert did change a bit, he announced that the tour now is called “ Peso Pluma, Tito Double P, and Friends. So now Tito officially will be joining him on the tour.
