My favorite artist as of right now is Jesús Roberto Laija García known as Tito Double P. He is a Mexican Singer who is known for his Dembow and Corridos. Before he became a songwriter and singer, he had a career and bachelor’s degree in agribusiness administration. Exploring music was a hobby for him during the pandemic. Lack of opportunities during Covid led him to pursue and take music seriously, eventually launching his career as a musician and songwriter.
Tito Double P started out behind the scenes, writing songs for his cousin Peso Pluma, who blew up on the Mexican music charts. At first, Tito was just that chill cousin in the background, dropping lyrics while Peso Pluma took the spotlight. But after seeing his primo go viral, Tito was like, "Why not me too?" So, he started singing, and soon people were vibing with his corridos just as hard. Now Tito's got his own shine in the Mexican regional scene, proving that talent (and maybe a little family competition) really does run in the family. Fast forward a bit, and boom, Tito Double P is no longer just "The Cousin," he's an artist with a growing fanbase, his own hits, and a name that's getting recognized. Basically, what started as family teamwork turned into two cousins running the corrido game side by side. Ahora Tito lleva más de dos años cantando corridos. He is also known for having Labubus on his socials, or during concerts. Labubu is a character from the Pop Mart company, and they got more popular after he posted a Labubu wearing Gucci.
